Youth Inspired to Excel, Lead and Deliver (YIELD)
The YIELD program provides comprehensive support to children and youth adversely affected by domestic violence, family separation, abandonment, and mental health challenges stemming from their family dynamics. These young individuals frequently face a range of traumatic experiences that significantly influence their emotional and psychological development. The nature and impact of these challenges can vary widely depending on their age, maturity, and specific life circumstances. Many of these young people endure complex trauma, which arises from chronic exposure to distressing situations or events during critical developmental stages. This trauma can lead to mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems, which may hinder their ability to form healthy relationships and thrive in various aspects of their lives. Our goal is to empower these children and youth by providing tailored interventions that address their unique needs, fostering resilience, healing, and positive growth.
